Remember when scolding to attack the behavior, not the child. Instead of “You were a bad girl” change to “You did a bad thing”. The behavior was bad but the child is intrinsically good and would benefit from separation of behavior and person. Make Bird Feeders for Spring time Spread large pine cones with peanut butter and sprinkle with birdseed. Tie a pipe cleaner at the top and hang on tree Slice oranges or grapefruit in half, take out the inside fruit, fill with peanut butter, birdseed, cranberry or blueberry mixture.
