Cranberry, Apple, Chestnut Stuffing with Kenny Palazzolo

Need a tasty and simple recipe for stuffing? No need to break your own bread, although I love to do that. Kenny’s recipe includes Pepperidge Stuffing. And full disclosure, some of my family members prefer pre-made stuffing. The secret is to make it your own by adding your own touches, which is what Kenny does in his favorite stuffing recipe.

If you’re gluten-free, there are several pre-made stuffing packages available. Check out Aldi’s and Trader Joe’s. I also made a gluten-free stuffing for Friendsgiving with raisin bread.

Here, Kenny takes us through a favorite family recipe.

Cranberry, Apple, Chestnut Stuffing

Ingredients

1/2 cup dried cranberries

5 ounces cooked chestnuts (chopped)

1 medium onion (chopped)

1 large apple (diced)

3 ribs celery (fine chopped)

1 -12 ounce bag Pepperidge Farm, herb seasoned, classic stuffing

2 sticks ( 1 cup ) butter

2 cups chicken broth

One thing I have learned is to have prep bowls with everything chopped up and ready to go!

In the video below, Kenny goes through each preparation step

Hope you enjoy this recipe! Please let us know if you made it and what you added to make it your own.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
