Day 1 was long and dirty and they filled a trailer full of debris! It ended with cleaning up and a new sofa being delivered that had been cancelled twice before. I tried to be green and give away doors and mirrors to avoid the junkyard but everyone fell through. Lots of chaos, two sofas, one bathroom and a dream that it will all be beautiful next week!
Day 2 began with the plumber jack-hammering to put in a new drain. Thank goodness we were invited out in the morning for the last sail of the season! And I’ve never been more grateful to have a job to go to in the afternoon to keep me away from the jackhammer, which the neighbor two doors down could hear!
Below is a photo of Arthur manning the tiller. The weather was a gorgeous 80’s on a fall day. The next photo is the bathroom bare bones – down to the studs. And the last photo is the new drain being put in!
Not sure I will survive the noise, mess and chaos! But I am forever grateful to Werrlein Properties!
To be continued….
