After sweeping the kitchen floor, take a wet paper towel to “Spot Mop“.

When squeezing out the last drops of Chocolate syrup for a glass of milk, pour a little milk directly into the bottle, shake, then pour!

When an angry child says “I don’t love you, Mom”, try replying, “That’s okay, because I love you enough for both of us.”

To discourage whining, try using the phrase, “Now I’m going to turn-off your Whine Switch.” (Pretend to turn a switch on their back)  This helps to put humor into their crankiness.

To reduce the number of interruptions while talking on the phone, make STOP and GO SIGNS from red and green construction paper.  Even little ones will understand that RED means “”no interrupting, this is important” and GREEN means “Okay, you can ask me one question.”
