Before bed, my children and I exchange NOW and LATER KISSES. The NOW KISSES go in one hand and we “eat” these right away (sometimes they are “flavored” like candy.) The LATER KISSES go in the other hand and these get stuffed under the pillow for later if we get lonely. This has been a fun game and very special works well when a parent is going to be away for a few days to “store up” kisses. (Angela DiCicco)
I was riding in the car one day lamenting to my five year old how much I would miss her when she went to school. One thing led to another and I was saying to her someday she would be gone for good. Her response, bless her heart, was “Don’t worry, Mommy. I’ll come and visit you.” (Angela DiCicco)
